FURNITURE & HOME DÉCOR

  • Home furnishings and accessories should be clean and in good condition.

  • Furniture and larger pieces should be emailed to kismetrochmn@gmail.com for selection.

  • Preferred selections are unique, unusual, and interesting in styles that are modern, vintage, or antique.

CLOTHING

  • Clothing should be clean, wrinkle free, and on hangers (we give your hangers back).

  • No more than 25 items at a time. (This includes both clothing and decor.)

  • Selections are made based on style, condition, current trends, and seasonal inventory on hand.

  • Seasons are: Spring/February, Summer/April, Fall/September, Winter/October.

PRICING

  • Kismet will determine pricing of your items and are subject to discounts.

  • If you have any pricing requests, please let us know at the time of consignment.

  • All merchandise is left at your own risk; we are not responsible for theft or damages.

PAYMENT POLICY

  • Please keep track the month your items are due for pickup, collect your earnings, and any unsold items.

  • For your protection we require a photo ID to receive payout.

  • You may come in anytime during the selling period to collect earnings due.

PERCENTAGE & SELLING TIME

  • Consignment percentage is 50% of the base selling price.

  • The contract period is 90 days, give or take, depending on if the items are brought in before or after the 15th of the month.

  • Items are donated on the 15th of the month so any unsold items must be picked up by then. If we are closed on the 15th (Sunday or Monday) please come the week before.

  • Prices are subject to a 50% discount after the first 60 days.

  • All clothing is donated to charity at the end of the selling cycle.

  • We ask you to wait to retrieve your items until the end of the cycle, just before or on the 15th.

  • Items not claimed after the end of the selling cycle will be donated to charity.

  • Donations Partners: Rochester Public Schools, Thrift on 5th, Community Health Partners, and the ReStore (Habitat for Humanity).
